@NZNationalParty Right now there are 217,818 unemployed people and 8,932 jobs advertised on TradeMe. That’s one job for every 24 job seekers.
Creating work and stimulating the economy is now to address the unemployment problem - NOT punishing the unemployed.
@Keysplice@mauriceraiti I think it’s just supply & demand. Right now there are 76 2-3 bedroom apartments available for rent just in Te Aro. They can’t all be bad. People have left Wellington because they can’t find work here now.
@cjsbishop I guess that’s what happens if you crash the economy, destroy jobs, and encourage people to move overseas in search of work. It’s the one silver lining to this cloud though.
