Junior Doctors are having to undertake a full walkout for 96 hours starting on Tuesday 11th April.
If you want (and are able) to support Junior Doctors earning as little as £14/hr in taking this action please consider contributing to the BMA Strike Fund. https://t.co/faLAFJMKt0
@johnredwood As an MP of the governing party, perhaps you should ask your colleagues in cabinet rather than the twitterati? Otherwise it seems like the motive of your tweet is to enflame anti-immigration sentiment rather than do something constructive to address the issues…
@RefugeCharity@bbcquestiontime If she had to put in context on QT for fear of a complaint it should have been eg: victim has said it was repeated abuse, alleged abuser disputes, one incident has been corroborated by 3rd parties. As an ambassador for Refuge it is my experience that DV is never one off
@RefugeCharity@bbcquestiontime Really surprised at this stance. I don’t see how her position as ambassador to your charity can continue to be tenable without a full public correction personally by Bruce. A press release from you and the BBC just isn’t sufficient.
@clhubes Me too; 34 weeks pregnant with No 2 and planning the books I’ll read, the recipes I’ll cook and even the extra study I’ll do during mat leave. No 1 only ever contact napped so why do I think No 2 will be any different?!
@marlizedv@PregnancyActive@sallykettle I looked at your website and you have some great resources, especially the online exercise sessions. I have found it hard to fit in a scheduled class around work and looking after a toddler this pregnancy. Will definitely give these a go (and looking after a toddler is v active!)
@evefrancisholt@evefrancisholt I am waiting for a midwife appointment and just spotted an advert for keeping active in pregnancy on the TV screen. Created by Moving Medicine and linked to @PregnancyActive. Thought you might be interested
@evefrancisholt Interesting point. The obstetrician did advise me to keep active but only in response to my question of what I could do to have the best chance of a healthy pregnancy. I’ve not been asked in my midwife appointments about my activity levels.
I’m trying to grow my follower count larger than Sajid Javid, because he wants NHS patients to be charged+ I spend my working life fighting against NHS privatisation🚨
Just need to find 37000 brilliant NHS supporters….
Could you possibly help by RTing this + following me?🤞💙
@Peston When banker’s bonuses were capped they got more of their total package as salary. The package stayed the same and HMRC got the same in taxes. If the bonus cap is lifted it will encourage riskier behaviour to earn bigger bonuses, and we know how well that ended last time
Please retweet if you want Labour, LibDems and Greens to cooperate at the next election in order to oust the Tories and introduce PR so that we never again have to endure a Tory Government with an eighty seat majority, secured with only 43% of the popular vote.
@awc_support @J_cool_LL Are you for real @AvantiWestCoast?! BTW your advance notifications of when timetables are available doesn’t work - signed up to hear about Sunday timetable, didn’t get any notification… Glad I won’t be needing your services again for a while after this weekend
@AvantiWestCoast how is anyone supposed to plan a weekend away when you haven’t released tickets for this Sunday! What’s the delay in getting the timetable out?!
@PaulTempleman6 Challenge the amount they’ve put it up by. And if you can cope with fluctuating bills ask to change you direct debit to what you use not what they think you’ll use. That means potentially paying more in winter but not building up a big credit for the energy co
@ArchRose90 My Gp surgery is fantastic - same day appointments for urgent issues, telephone triage for everything else, work late into the evenings and at weekends. I hate this lazy GP trope
