If you're like me, at times you wonder how our children's formative years prepared them for life after high school and for a rapidly-changing future with respect to the economy and the labor market.

With that in mind, I've been very interested in understanding how our children experienced school; what served them well, not so well, and what do they wish they would have received that they did not.
I'm excited to share - and request your help with - a Young Adult Survey which will help us better understand their experience and inform the shape of Kentucky's education system going forward - so we can help ensure Kentucky's high school diploma is meaningful to them - and the future they will inherit.

If you have a child, grandchild, niece, nephew, or neighborhood friend who is between the ages of 20-35 and was educated in Kentucky public schools, please ask them to take this short survey. Their voice is important to Kentucky's future and to us at The @PrichardCom for Academic Excellence.

Prichard Committee Vice Chair Dr. Julia Roberts, a longtime champion for gifted education, was present as Governor Beshear signed House Bill 190 into law — expanding access to advanced coursework for every qualified student across the Commonwealth.

Joined by Representative Robert Duvall of Bowling Green, this legislation marks a significant step toward broadening opportunities and reaffirming Kentucky’s commitment to academic excellence for all students.
