Most people overcomplicate creating a personal curriculum.
To make it as simple as possible:
1) Choose one topic you’re obsessed with
2) Find a single resource you'll use to learn
3) Block out one pocket of time to work on it
That’s all you need to get started, seriously.
I’m back from a three week vacation visiting family for the holidays.
I didn’t open social media once and it was glorious.
I also read 4 fictional books and they were amazing.
Feeling rejuvenated af and ready to start working toward my 2024 goals!

I’ve been reading less books lately.
Which is weird, as someone who loves to read.
Instead of books, I’ve been consuming:
- Essays
- Textbooks
- Research papers
It’s more challenging, but much more fulfilling.
TIL: Made to Stick and Make it Stick are two different books.
I bought Made to Stick to read about learning and was really confused when I started it.
At least it’s good lol
@TomFrankly I’ve been out of the gym for like three months doing at home workouts and just got a gym membership again last week so this makes me happy to hear. Excited to build my strength & muscle back up!
I spent over 15 years in school + med school.
There were so many things I wish I had known earlier.
Here are 5 subtle lessons I wish I'd learned as a student:
