Then Phoenix' heat, then Toronto's frozen dreams,
Through Brooklyn's boroughs didst thou go,
Chasing rings like ice cream trucks' distant screams.

And lo! In Milwaukee's amber halls,
When destiny called with a championship ring,
Thou wast there—conveniently installed—
