Prostate Cancer – 1 Year Post Surgery
One year ago this month I had surgery for prostate cancer.
I’m still here, still working, and still learning how to manage the after-effects. Some days are completely normal. Others remind you that the body doesn’t just bounce back because the calendar says a year has passed.
I’m not looking for sympathy — just putting it out there because a lot of men in this industry (and beyond) still leave it too late to get checked.
If you’re over 45 and haven’t had the conversation with your GP yet, it’s worth doing. Simple blood test. Better to know.
