@Delta employees in both Dallas and Atlanta have treated me like shit today. When I asked where my bags, the gate agent in Dallas insisted he take from me were, I got a shrug and “they probably didn’t make the flight either”. Excellent.
I was hoping to make a switch from another carrier I’ve been loyal to for years but as of late their customer service has fallen off, always hear exceptional things about @Delta and their service but apparently that doesn’t apply when traveling with a child.
One would think @delta would be trained to show a little compassion, Ive worked in hospitality, I know how this goes.... after all I didn’t make the flight late, I didn’t ask to run through the airport because their planes decided to run late on one leg.
@Delta employee books me on a later flight, doesn’t apologize, doesn’t offer anything, just hands me new boarding passes WITHOUT seats and sends me packing back a different terminal. I’m visibly upset, as is my 4 year old who is hearing the plane is leaving without her.
Ran through ATL’s airport toting a 4 year old through 2 terminals only to make it to my gate with 10 minutes to spare of a very tight now 29 minute connection and SEE the @delta plane sitting there and be told I can’t get on.
Asked @delta employees to keep my carryon as I knew I had 39 min. Between flights and I had essentials my 4 year old may need. Still they insisted they take it because the overhead bins would be full. Shocker. Not full at all.
The @delta flight was delayed and I asked employees on the plane if they would hold the plane or if I should rebook... they assured me I would be fine because they know knew the flight was running behind.
