@acdmma_ Not anymore will have a tough time matching him now and being able to sell it as a competitive fight. Definitely not interested in Eubank 3 unless Eddie is promoting Eubank then I’m there for the theatre of it all lol
@ConorNigel@RyanGarcia No Thanks for Eddie after the fight just Dana and Zuffa? Let’s not forget if it wasn’t for eddie you wouldn’t of had a ranking high enough to challenge for the title
@AccordToBoxing Have you been on companies house and seen their Revenue? Matchroom is an established sports company and before the Saudis came along where staging the biggest fight nights on the biggest platforms especially here in the UK, that’s success
@AccordToBoxing It’s not projecting it’s just clear to see, right now they are just entering the boxing market so they have to play ball in certain areas to obtain their market share. Once they have established that they will begin to dictate as they do with the UFC
@TheKidIrv24 For now will eventually phase them out, at least I assume that’s his intention. Right now he has no choice as the belt still holds value to the fighters. Realise how there is no mention of the WBC on any of Zuffa’s promotional graphics or posters.
@AccordToBoxing 2) Zuffa ain’t holding Conor to these standards yet as this is just the beginning of Zuffa but give it time all the fighters will have the same shorts on and they’re pay will reduce. They will all be complaining just as most UFC fighters do
@AccordToBoxing It’s a great business there is no denying that! However it’s at the cost of the fighter in regards to their pay and their personal brand. That’s not boxing, you want fighters in the same uniform fighting for a toy belt? Completely disregarding the legacy of the sport?
@AccordToBoxing It’s true! Look at the UFC there is no real stars like boxing (aside from an almost done Conor, that’s the last star they built 10+ years ago) they don’t build fighters brands anymore. Have them all in the same uniform and make the UFC the draw. This is their goal in boxing
@arielhelwani Conor’s situation was unique! Eddie showed Conor loyalty in a time where most promoters (including his new one and this weasel) would walk away. Eddie literally stood in front of him and took bullets. He owed Eddie a lot more in that situation
