Bravo on defending the police officers in a sensitive manner. The death is horrific and the culprit has been sentenced.
There is a clear push to suggest police officers arrested Henry Nowak to humiliate him or a form of reverse racism / diversity gone wrong.
My view is that in the main, police officers are good people and go to work to do a good job. With regards to this incident, I can see mistakes and errors but I have not and may not ever see the witness statements of the officer on scene.
The death is tragic and hopefully it leads to further guidance and training around knife wounds
@apjoseph2013@thecommoner1215@nazirafzal Watch the video again objectively and read the sentencing report from the judge from yesterday and then reread your last tweet for accuracies and strip the emotion
@apjoseph2013@thecommoner1215@nazirafzal I am also horrified by the murder.
Immediate means within 2 minutes in the context of the said video. Is 2 minutes accurate?
Regarding the sentencing judge on Henry Novak’s murder.
Please read paragraph 27 of Judge Mousley’s sentencing report before you throw venom and allegations of racism towards the arresting officers

Maybe you are part of the reason the job is fucked? We haven’t seen the witness state of the police officers.
No stab wounds, convincing and lying victims, dark clothing, no puddle of blood, ambulance called and apparently CPR administered. All within 2 minutes.
Maybe incompetence, maybe learning or retraining of officer safety and arrests but I also prefer to see outcome of any independent investigation.
The whole two tier racial element to police officers arrest is codwallop and reeks of bandwagon agenda
@thecommoner1215@nazirafzal Did the officers not checking for stab wounds and immediately call for an ambulance? Is that acting like nothing?
Now over to you…
It was dark, victim had dark clothing, no obvious stab wounds, no obvious blood in vicinity, ambulance called almost immediately after arrest and police apparently administered CPR.
These are facts, look at official documents.
Maybe police were incompetent and / or unprofessional but we need a proper inquiry now that suspect has been convicted and sent to jail
Stop the sensationalism. The police made an honest and easy mistake that sadly may (or may not) have prevented a death.
It was dark, Henry was wearing dark clothing and there was no obvious blood. The police correctly called for an ambulance and apparently even gave Henry CPR.
The video shows that murderer Vikram D was very convincing and acted as a victim.
Thousands of suspects every year pretend they can’t breath when arrested and hancuffed and he wasn’t brutally assaulted or dragged on floor by police as widely reported.
I hope there is an independent investigation and I am sure there will be some learning for police from this death.
Incompetence maybe but callousness, I would say no.
Henry Novak was telling the truth but sadly he had no obvious stab wounds and it was dark and he wore dark clothing.
Thousands of prisoners every year also feign injuries to avoid arrest.
The officers correctly called for an ambulance and apparently administered CPR at the scene.
The murderer has correctly been convicted.
Let’s do an investigation to the police to see if there is any learning
