@narindertweets@dazzle6895 So, some people, apparently based on appearance, are properly treated like victims, while others, apparently based on appearance, are left to die.
This is a major problem.
@Christophe74732@DrChrisParry@HantsPolice That's the problem. The police need to explain this. The protests may get worse. And, yeah, it's wrong to assault police, but people are angry. Just as angry as with George Floyd.
@vinoveritastic@DavidVance@MayorofLondon Nowak was cuffed and left to die for the crime of racism.
His killer was never cuffed and was taken into his home to select some tasty treats for the ride to booking.
Two-tiered policing is worth protesting.
@Christophe74732@DrChrisParry@HantsPolice This is after Henry died and they knew he'd been stabbed by Digwa. They chose to take Digwa into his kitchen to choose from a selection of delicious treats, then took him, uncuffed to the police station.
A stark difference to how Henry was treated.
Certainly looks 2 tiered.
@romfordroy@RobWalk79963727 Taking a quick look and saying, nope, no stab wound isn't checking. The kid was bleeding from the mouth, that warranted a full check.
Sadly, all they could see was a racist white kid, not a stabbing victim.
@SandraDunn1955@BladeoftheS The stabbed white kid was cuffed and left to die. His POC murderer was never cuffed and was taken home for tea and crumpets before they booked him.
Absolutely 2 tiered.
@Christophe74732@DrChrisParry@HantsPolice So, why didn't they cuffed the man that murdered him? Why did they take him home for tea and crumpets before booking him?
Why wasn't he cuffed and dragged through the gravel?
@0Calamity A white kid was cuffed and left to die for a suspected racism. His POC murderer was never cuffed and taken home for tea and crumpets before going to be booked.
There is absolutely two tier policing.
@JG_Jonno@MrGLarkin@KayBurley Look at the whole incident. White kid accused of a racism is immediately cuffed and left to die. POC who clearly committed manslaughter is not cuffed and is taken home for milk and cookies first.
Disgusting.
@Shaunthebanned1@____Foxtrot____ You had more than 1 male ancestor in the 1780s.
Or maybe you didn't.
@portraitinflesh The white kid suspected of a racism is cuffed and left to die. The POC who they knew committed a murder wasn't cuffed and was taken home for milk and cookies first.
There is absolutely something rotten here.
@rickstrang@Melissag0ec@alistairsteel Look at the whole incident. The white kid merely suspected of a racism is cuffed and left to die. The POC who clearly committed a murder is not cuffed and is taken home for milk and cookies.
Something is terribly wrong with policing.
@Shaunthebanned1@____Foxtrot____ Someone sounds like they are still ashamed that their grandfather surrendered at Yorktown.
You talk nonstop about American politics on here. You don't get to cry when it comes back. Cope.
@rickstrang@Melissag0ec@alistairsteel After he was dead. The police cuffed him and watched him die. Instead of reading him the caution, they should have been looking for wounds to the chest and back.
They simply didn't care. They could only see racism. This is a serious systemic problem that needs to change.
@suehitch@BurnsideWasTosh@Keir_Starmer He didn't want backlash against the Sikhs.
It's absolutely proper to have backlash against the clear systemic issues in policing.
