This is a superficial and ultimately destructive way of framing the problem.

Women deal with the profound biological burden of reproduction: menstruation, pregnancy, childbirth, and menopause. That is real, costly, and non-negotiable. No serious person denies it.

But the complementary burden that has fallen on men for the entire history of our species is equally non-negotiable and far more lethal.

Men have been the ones who die in war — by the tens of millions. Conscription, combat, and the obligation to stand between the tribe and existential threat have been almost exclusively male responsibilities.

Men occupy the overwhelming majority of the most dangerous occupations on the planet: commercial fishing, logging, mining, roofing, heavy construction, oil-rig work, long-haul trucking. The workplace fatality statistics are not subtle. Year after year, 90–95 % of occupational deaths are male.

Men also take more physical and psychological risks. That is why they invent more, explore more, and die younger — from accidents, from violence, from suicide. The male suicide rate is not a minor footnote; it is a catastrophic and chronic reality.

These are not interchangeable complaints. They are complementary sacrifices. One sex carries the primary cost of creating new life. The other sex carries the primary cost of protecting that life and extracting the resources necessary to sustain it from a dangerous and indifferent world.

To reduce the entire male side of this ancient division of labour to “what do men deal with?” as if the answer were “nothing of consequence” is not compassion. It is a deliberate refusal to look at the hierarchical and sacrificial structure of reality itself.

The proper response is not grievance. It is gratitude for the complementary burdens that have kept the species alive, and the individual responsibility to carry one’s own share of them without self-pity.

Jordan Peterson’s answer to “what’s the point of marriage if we can already have kids together” was simple: children.

Not just the ones you have now, the whole multi-generational thing, including grandchildren. Marriage is the public way of saying this is serious and long-term.

He pointed out that “as long as we love each other and we’re happy” doesn’t survive forty years. There will be long stretches where you’re not happy and the love feels thin. That’s when the vow matters, the “come hell or high water” part. And hell and high water are coming.

The real question is whether this is the person you actually want in the boat with you when things fall apart.

Americans need to know the truth behind the story Zohran Mamdani used to say America needs to accept mass migration

Zohran Mamdani said “I consider my own faith, Islam, a religion built upon a narrative of migration. The story of the Hijra reminds us that Prophet Muhammad was a stranger too, who fled Mecca and was welcomed in Medina."

Here’s the part that he left out and it’s VERY important

- Muhammad started his religion in Mecca, where he made about 70 converts until the citizens of Mecca literally chased him out of the city

- So he fled from Mecca to Medina, which was a mostly Jewish city that was occupied and controlled by 3 opposing Jewish tribes

- He then he made a treaty with the Jewish tribes, establishing himself for the first time as a political leader. So Muhammad continued to gain followers and grow politically and militarily until he eventually got big enough and strong enough that he just decided, "Well, I don't have to follow these treaties anymore." And so for two of the tribes, he voided the treaty, and he cast them out. He expelled them out of Medina.

- The final tribe that was still in Medina, he brought all of the men from the tribe into the middle of the city and beheaded them and then all of the women and the children from the tribe were either sold off or brought into slavery

Now this is the story that Zohran Mamdani references. “Prophet Muhammad was a stranger too, who fled Mecca and was welcomed in Medina."

Yeah, except for within 5 years, Muhammad had killed, enslaved or expelled every Jew from Medina

Zohran Mamdani literally used this story as his reasoning to say we need to accept mass migration

The story ends with mass murder of the native people and the compelled takeover of the land by Muslims

Immodesty is deeper than clothing.

We often reduce “immodesty” to short skirts, low necklines, or tight fits as if the issue begins and ends with sexual appeal. Scripture points to something more fundamental. Immodesty is rooted in pride: the craving to be noticed, admired, and set apart as special. It is the heart’s desire to stand out, to draw eyes, and to secure significance through external display.

That desire can wear many outfits.

It can appear in expensive brands flaunted for status.

It can appear in deliberately provocative dress.

It can appear in loud, attention-seeking speech or social-media performance.

It can even appear in the opposite extreme: ostentatious “modesty” worn as a badge of superiority.

In every case the root is the same: “Look at me.” Pride seeks glory for the self rather than reflecting the glory of God.

The cure is not a longer list of rules. Legalism (measuring holiness by hemlines, fabric choices, or external checklists) cannot change the heart. It only rearranges the symptoms while leaving the pride intact. Rules may restrain behavior for a season, but they cannot produce genuine humility or godliness.

True change comes through sanctification which is the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit conforming us to the image of Christ. This is received by faith, not earned by performance. As we trust the finished work of Jesus, the Spirit steadily dethrones pride, reorients our desires, and teaches us to find our identity and worth in Him rather than in the applause of others. Outward modesty then becomes the natural fruit of an inward transformation, not the anxious product of rule-keeping.

We do not overcome the desire to be seen by trying harder to hide. We overcome it by fixing our eyes on the One who saw us, loved us, and gave Himself for us, until the need to stand out fades in the light of His glory.
