I find pts' perception of pain...interesting... "I feel the bones in my spine being crushed when I stand" VAS=4/10. #totallycorrelates

[Brittany Davis @BrittDavisSPT]

@k_consiglio prob more than that lol but bcs of what the pt's like, taking the comment personally wasn't worth it. It was an odd tx session.

[Brittany Davis @BrittDavisSPT]

Mildly offended when my pt said I could be replaced by his chiropractor and personal trainer, then proceeded to take a phone call during tx

[Brittany Davis @BrittDavisSPT]

My pt stated: "In March 2013 I was attacked by the sciatica". #watchoutsciaticastillontheloose

[Brittany Davis @BrittDavisSPT]

Pt mad today after seeing cog def w/ Mini-cog test :/ tried ed on balance & cog, but pt responded "why r u doing this to me"...#cuzicare

[Brittany Davis @BrittDavisSPT]

Spent 30 min to help almost bed bound pt w/ cog impairment remember to do HEP. Took pt that long to reason thru best options #fingerscrossed

[Brittany Davis @BrittDavisSPT]

Might try w/ next chronic LBP eval: Chronic P ed improved SLR & fwd bend. http://t.co/v96eixSoHB #comparablesign #lookmanohandsandstillmagic

[Brittany Davis @BrittDavisSPT]

Used @AnnaHoSPT supine self trxn & added some light LS rot for added gapping. Pt felt better! Def a keeper for the toolbox. Thx Anna!!

[Brittany Davis @BrittDavisSPT]

@myumori22 @LizzieB_SPT Maybe it will at least knock some sense into them?

[Brittany Davis @BrittDavisSPT]

@ShauntiKazemi But interesting because maybe cortical reorganization?

[Brittany Davis @BrittDavisSPT]

@ShauntiKazemi Homunculus problems?? :) This is also the theory for why people have foot fetishes...

[Brittany Davis @BrittDavisSPT]

@ShauntiKazemi Rancho Road Map suggests AFO could still be appropriate: DF < or = to 4/5, but pt's balance (& w/ dual task), safety, fxn?

[Brittany Davis @BrittDavisSPT]

Success w/ chronic P pt! Chng focus to LE strength in other m & snuck in therex to get hip moving. Pt enjoyed session and exercises.

[Brittany Davis @BrittDavisSPT]

Mvmt analysis and facilitation save the day! Pt w/ LBP + radic had no pain w/ sit to stand w/ cues for inc glut use instead of LS ext.

[Brittany Davis @BrittDavisSPT]

Functional balance training with high heels improved pt's balance confidence. So much fun! She said she felt like her old self again.

[Brittany Davis @BrittDavisSPT]

Something a pt shared with us :)

[Brittany Davis @BrittDavisSPT]

Incorp chronic pain pt's ballet hx into therex to overcome fear of mvmt. Pt more willing to tol "discomfort"! #keepcalmandrandejambe

[Brittany Davis @BrittDavisSPT]

Awkwardly facilitated proper foot mechanics during gait. Pt had decrease in foot pain!

[Brittany Davis @BrittDavisSPT]

Had a patient tell me that their shoulder pain went away like magic. Earned my magic hands today!

[Brittany Davis @BrittDavisSPT]

Treated upper C/S and TMJ for pt with ear fullness that began after a cold a month ago. Ears began clearing up! Pt was definitely surprised.
