I finished this graphic novel this AM. It took me awhile because I liked to sit with each of the stories before starting another. Itโs 10 Canadian events told from an Indigenous perspective. I highly recommend- it broadened my horizons in terms of format and content #SnowWillow
Suppertime conversation today included my 8 year old daughter telling me about the black athletes she learned about in Gym and how they changed history. Kudos to her teacher. Every teacher, every curriculum. #BlackHistoryMonth#WillieORee
