TA- I think the community is one of your biggest resources to be aware of that is often forgotten. Build those relationships with the elders and knowledge bringers in your community and don't be afraid to bring them in to speak about what you are unfamiliar with #saskedchat

It was nice to see teachers banding together to help when finding resources

A5- Keeping an open line of communication and knowledge sharing. I have been lucky enough to have a really strong administrative support team when doing internships at schools and it has made a significant impact on my education journey #saskedchat

@technolandy @SarahWright306 It is unfortunate that this is the education that we were raised with but that is why we are taking those steps to ensure that it is not the same education we are providing our students. It took me going into an Indigenous Education degree to find authentic resources

@Jessalyn_Shwaga I love this approach, it is easier for many to grasp because it is the same approach that many educators use with their own students as soon as children reach school age. We find comfort in familiarity!

Q4-I believe that mentors work as an amazing sounding board for new teachers. They are able to listen to and observe the new teacher and provide support in the form of feedback. #saskedchat

@YobbDallin great point. I feel like with most things, students will warm up to you and build that trust with you in time. We as educators just have to be patient
