@nyusteph@amy_mccamley I read that the behaviour doesnโt work for those who are fond of reading for pleasure but for those who read to learn new information.
Iโve found I have to read non-fiction books on topics that interest me. Fiction draws me into the world within & I end up reading till all hours
After a full day of uni, I actually look forward to reading a book before bed ๐
Anybody else get excited about winding down in the evening to have some quiet time? Have you tried swapping blue light for a book before bed?

Thought Iโd change it upโฆInstead of posting a photo of my book to hold myself accountable tonightโฆbecause youโve all seen the cover of my book multiple timesโฆ hereโs a GIF instead

@BrittA2211 Highly recommend ๐๐ฝ
For myself, I struggle to quiet my mind before bed so I often distract my thoughts by going on my phone till all hours.
I find reading puts my mind in a relaxed state. A few pages in and Iโm practically falling asleep with the book in my hands. ๐ด
~ Accountability ~
My partner holds me accountable most nights! But sharing my photo each night helps keep me accountable too!

@amy_mccamley Interesting that you mention not being able to put it down!
I tweeted the other day about how if your book is too addictive, youโll just want to keep reading!
I experienced this, and it turned my behaviour negative because it was 2am before I went to sleep ๐
Holding myself accountable!!
Tonight Iโm going back to the book I started at the beginning of this behaviour change but am yet to finish ๐
Putting my phone down and picking up my book ๐ค

Over the weekend (Sunday), I took time out for myself, staying off my laptop. Instead, enjoying some time in the sun. In the night, I treated myself to a current series Iโve been enjoying on Netflix ๐ฟ instead of picking up my book ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ whoopsโฆ
