@LenoxOnBaseball@gabbymaljanian Yes, as he has worked with a great Phillies pitching staff and would likely plug right into the Sox system bringing that quality experience. I would in that case keep Narvaez and let Wong go.
@gabbymaljanian@LenoxOnBaseball I have not given up on Carlos narvaez or Connor Wong at least for the first half of 2026. Wing’s offense is an immediate liability but his morale boost with the pitching staff is a plus.
My draft kings has Crochet for 8k’s and a Sox W tomorrow. F the YankMees, @NickTurturro1, Loved you on The Blue but you have more raging to do after this series is done! Hope you didn’t run out of firewood or ugly pinstripe jerseys to incinerate. @LenoxOnBaseball
@LenoxOnBaseball
Tonight’s Steve intro (fiction): Well!!!… welcome to October baseball Boston Red Sox thanks to none other than Ceddanne Rafaella!! You couldn’t have written this one any better!
@LenoxOnBaseball my “no look” Steve impression for tonight’s game: “Well… “ that’s all I got 😂 haven’t listened yet but how’d I do? Jk My takeaways were Nate Lowe maybe ever so slightly has redeemed himself from a HORRENDOUS game the other day. The bullpen GETS the Job Done!
@LenoxOnBaseball haven’t listened tonight yet but what’s on my mind is it’s on Nathaniel Lowe’s shoulders that this one was not a laugher in favor of the Red Sox and a… series… sweep!
@LenoxOnBaseball Justin Wilson, shame on you for almost blowing the game and taking away a much deserved debut recorded winning start for Kyle Harrison.
@LenoxOnBaseball YES I just yelled at an 0-2 count Jarren Duran to slap hit. Not swing hard and we need to do theses thijgsnthebrest of the way. Things just might work out. The boys just need to hear the advice from the rooters through the TV.
I'm predicting a laugher tonight at Fenway both for the Sox bats and for Early's intimidating poise on the mound. I don't see him succumbing to any hitter like Tolle and Giolito
@LenoxOnBaseball as long as Ken Rosenthal doesn't bump into Narvaez's catcher's mitt during a crucial at bat, we'll be good in game 1 of the SacraFriscoVegas series, and be off to a solid start.
@LenoxOnBaseball Hahaha! I may listen to the posrcast too often perhaps. I took a stab at predicting your opening line before actually listening. I was close!!!
@LenoxOnBaseball
My steve impression on a postcast opener: "WELL, 12, count'em, 12 strikeouts on Crochet day to avoid being swept by the Yankees at Fenway should stop the bleeding!" How'd I do? 😎⚾️
@LenoxOnBaseball the good news is, a loss is no longer a death sentence like it felt like in May. The team is able to bounce back and recoup ground. It's a good feeling.
