@GaryLineker You’re an absolute disgrace. You never get to talk about gay rights again. You make me sick.

[Bro Martyn @BroMartyn]

Right … been away… here’s me finally initiating someone !

[Bro Martyn @BroMartyn]

Lovely evening at the installation meeting of my London lodge (Pyramid 5718) and I definitely DID NOT spend the entire night trying to get Metropolitan brethren to defect to Surrey lodges… 😂

[Bro Martyn @BroMartyn]

@fascinatorfun The misogyny on this thread is quite alarming… 😳

[Bro Martyn @BroMartyn]

@PC_Angry And a badly written one at that

[Bro Martyn @BroMartyn]

@CotswoldLadyB @HebrewForMasons Plus, you might literally want to hide in it.

[Bro Martyn @BroMartyn]

Acted as senior deacon for a third degree tonight and while I didn’t make too much of a fool of myself I did physically get lost once or twice… #IfYouKnowYouKnow

[Bro Martyn @BroMartyn]

@FreemasonBarry @trevatronic I think ‘terrifying’ was the word you were looking for!!

[Bro Martyn @BroMartyn]

My day in pictures…

I went into the temple on my own when I arrived and spend a moment looking through our Past Masters’ board.

This is an imposing sight…

[Bro Martyn @BroMartyn]

Well, finally submitted my details to join Chapter.

Got a distinct feeling that this will lead me down a rabbit hole of other orders but I suppose there is a small possibility I’ll show some self control…

[Bro Martyn @BroMartyn]

@tonystwit Thanks, Tony. Your support is - what was that word I forgot? - not misplaced…

New apron gets an early outing… Happy to be visiting Mid Surrey Lodge at @suttonmasonic to see an old - and now happily retired - friend from work initiated into Freemasonry.

Be fun to just sit and watch this one!

[Bro Martyn @BroMartyn]

And one with my Brother Senior Deacon @BenSimm43698571 who has no idea how much I’m going to be relying on him…

[Bro Martyn @BroMartyn]

A lot of the rest of the evening is a blur but the end result will always be a cherished memory…

[Bro Martyn @BroMartyn]

@trevatronic Thanks mate… Currently sat with a beer trying to get my head around it all!!

[Bro Martyn @BroMartyn]

Not nervous at all, honest…

In the last month I have seen an Installation, a Passing, a Proclamation and have become Master Elect of @SurbitonLodge … and still have an Initiation and my own Installation to@come before the end of October!
