My latest first-author ChemRxiv preprint - and my first as a co-corresponding author - from my PhD external stay and postdoc work! https://t.co/nLNlLFAtJk Thanks to @laraialab and @hanzyduzit for a fruitful collaboration!
Thank you to @ChemicalScience for featuring @laraialab's and my work, “Unifying principles for the design and evaluation of natural product-inspired compound collections” (https://t.co/4pvBsGW5b3), in their 2025 most popular organic synthesis articles collection!
From the 1st of October, I will be joining the group of Assistant Professor Sebastian Clementson (@SebbeClement) in the Department Chemistry at Lund University working on the total synthesis of complex terpenoid natural products.
My first perspective is out in @ChemicalScience!
@laraialab and I give our thoughts on the synthesis of natural product-inspired compounds. Check it out!

Deciding which synthesis strategy to pursue can be daunting, particularly as new strategies keep emerging! 1/2
Great start to 2025 for the lab, as our latest paper on sterol transport protein ligands was just published open access in @ACSCentSci! 1/n https://t.co/XDdLPori6Y
Second pre-print of the week!🥳This time @ChemRxiv we discover a funky 3D spirooxepinoindole core as a privileged scaffold for inhibiting sterol transporters! 1/n https://t.co/bs9kvoYhJ8
NEW pre-print! Endogenous and fluorescent sterols reveal the molecular basis for ligand selectivity of human sterol transporters. Fantastic work by @Laura_dta with support from @HoganBryceRoge1, @NienkeJDekker, Anna and Nicolo! 1/n https://t.co/z0mh8bm3Mr
Big day for the lab as our latest paper is out in Nature Chemical Biology @nchembio on identifying the oxybipins as new OSBP inhibitors, as well as their mechanism of action and therapeutic applications! https://t.co/oP2HIcDiUT 1/n
We found a rather promiscuous aKG enzyme that can desaturate or hydroxylate a number of monocyclic/bicyclic substrates and develop its synthetic application. I'm personally quite fond of the desymmetrization-azidation shown below.

We verified the function of a C–S bond forming P450 in griseoviridin biosynthesis for the first time and developed a short chemoenzymatic synthesis of the natural product: https://t.co/U9AB4S2rnt
Delighted to take part in this @thiemechemistry cheminar! Dial in on May 29th to hear more about our work on natural product-inspired compound synthesis with different applications! https://t.co/S4g8FuzbpG
I'm super happy and proud to share that today I won a prize for Best PhD in Medicinal Chemistry in Denmark. Grateful for my supervisor @laraialab and all collaborators I got to work with along the way. Excited to represent Denmark at the #EFMC-ISMC 2024 in Rome later this year.
New paper in Bioorg Med Chem on degraders of the sterol transport protein Aster-A! We use the pomalidomide core as a fluorescent handle to determine binary binding constants, develop competitive assays, determine cell permeability + degrade Aster-A! 1/n https://t.co/6ZUCs5aKKC
