Sheridan alum Tate Ruthers got 4th overall in his 1st collegiate race. 15:20 5k at Marshall University. OU won both the men’s and women’s team titles.

Tate Ruthers will be running the 5,000 meters championship race at New Balance Nationals tomorrow (Thurs) at 6:57 PM.

Sheridan’s boys were 8th/14 in the D1 District. Tate Ruthers reset the school record while winning the 1600 (4:19.82). He was also 2nd in the 3200 (9:26). Hunter Adams was 2nd in the 400 (50.30) & Creed Hill was 2nd in shot (50’4.5”)

The boys 3200 meter school record went down tonight! Tate Ruthers ran a 9:11.44 to break Luke Brown’s record of 9:15.79. This race was a 10 second PR for Tate which he ran last year to get 3rd in the D2 State Meet.

Sheridan’s boys qualify to the state XC meet for the 11th year in a row. Ranked 7th in the region in this week’s poll and finish 3 pts from runner-up. Tate Ruthers ran the 2nd fastest time in school history (2nd, 15:34). Skinner (14th) and Conrad (16th) also both were All-Region
