@BrexitRage As much as I'm a fan of Gina Miller's work versus previous Tory governments, my vote needs to count against empowering another Conservative candidate. I'm afraid a vote for Alan would effectively be a Tory vote.

I've been conflicted over how to vote in tomorrow's #MidBeds by-election.

Local campaigning has been like nothing I've seen. Theresa May was allegedly spotted in our village!

It's made me feel like my vote matters for the first time in more than a decade.

My dismay at British politics remains, but @alistrathern has given me hope, at least locally.

They can't both be right and I worry that the fog of war they're creating between them will dilute the anti-Tory vote.

I usually enjoy listening to @lbc, but I've just had to switch off @NickFerrariLBC disingenuous baiting of a doctor. To claim that the underfunding of the NHS shouldn't be addressed because 'it would just kill more people' is sickening, offensive and illogical.

I witnessed & was part of the inadequate healthcare response in February/March 2020 and beyond. We squandered opportunities to use foresight & the UK's geographical advantages to slow the spread of #Covid19.

This is tragic & a risk I hoped had been addressed.

My Dad, Clive Westhorpe, was a career firefighter who retired from LFB on medical grounds. He died aged 67 from complications due to a blood cancer. He'd 'taken a good lungful in his time'.

In my 22 years of being an A&E Dr, I’ve never seen things so bad. It’s the same everywhere.
