Spooky nerd season 🎃 cinema then a party
Thank you Mr Del Toro for validating all the stuff about anatomical venuses and the ethics of dissections that I wrote in my masters dissertation!!
If you like T.S. Eliot… and maybe seeing a train… (to the tune of the Pina Colada Song if that wasn’t clear)
Anyway. 24th of October, one night only! It’ll be prescient and emotionally resonant!
Went down to get the scoop on the new DCU filming and I saw this big lamp!!
Clayface and The Batman may not be in the same universe but they are in the same down-the-road-from-my-flat

The fight against racism & scapegoating is the same fight as that against low pay, poor housing & crumbling public services.
We cannot defeat one without the other.
Team work today at Crown St Park. It was in a state but our volunteers got to work and restored some order. Really grateful to have such caring people in our community. Great to have @lpool_LSSL on site to collect our bags and empty bins. Fantastic collective effort from all 🌎
It bears repeating today: the women celebrating the UK supreme court ruling do not speak for me. History shows that the rights of women and the rights of trans people will rise and fall together. My safety as a cis woman will never spring from the persecution of trans women.
Yesterday's jobs in & around Crown St Park. Woodland area, planters, messy slope, wildflower area, all attended to, plus some flytipping and contractors waste reported. Park got a good litter pick & is looking really good these days. Well done everyone 🌎
Our regular Saturday team were absolutely outstanding today. A multitude of tasks, historical litter, messy slope, weeding, socialising plus some great input from the canning ward councillor who arranged sign cleaning and painting, Boss work all @BronwenHarding@CllrNicholas
