Feed the birds in your garden…and roast others in your oven. Rescue dogs from hot cars…and send pigs in metal slaughter trucks to get gassed. Delight at a donkey being reunited with their mother…and pay for calves to be separated from their mothers so you can have their milk
At our @UN Headquarters in New York, we can feel the deteriorating air quality as smoke from the wildfires in Canada moves south.
With global temperatures on the rise, the need to urgently reduce wildfire risk is critical.

@jennystojkovic@GrowPlantBased I also think that many omni restaurants have introduced more vegan options, meaning that patrons looking for plant based meals don't need to seek out vegan restaurants. They've lost market share.

Although, admittedly I am feeding my dog kibble made from black fly larvae while I wait for cell-based dog food to become available in Australia. Vegan dog food here is expensive and has supply issues 😭
@jennystojkovic I am vegan for the animals and strongly believe that cell-based meat is the answer to ending industrial animal farming. It ultimately doesn't matter if vegans won't support it but it would be good to be united and push this technology forward 🤷

Our world is fading from green to grey. The Biodiversity Stripes show a 69% decline in over 5,000 species of mammals, birds, fish, amphibians and reptiles since 1970. #BiodiversityDay
Dairy cows don’t do well in humidity & are prone to heat stress. I’ve wondered how they survive in Florida. Apparently, they cool off in manure lagoons to survive. ⬇️ … but that’s not all.
