Point made by @PatMcGorry just now to @Raf_Epstein (will defer to the Professor’s expertise): People with schizophrenia are less likely to commit violent crimes, not more. He says fact @nswpolice say killer was targeting women means could be other factors than mental illness.
In 2007, archaeologists unearthed a remarkable 2200 year-old tomb in Turpan, China, revealing the remains of a man with a unique prosthetic leg.
The man's leg was severely deformed, with the kneecap, thigh bone and shinbone fused together at a sharp angle. Attached to this deformed limb was a prosthetic leg, crafted with a horse hoof as its tip.
Evidence of wear on the prosthetic suggested that it had been used extensively, hinting at the man's remarkable resilience and adaptability in the face of his physical limitations.

Foamy mud or muddy foam? Recent rains have transported fine soils from the catchment of the local creek onto the beach at Pottsville, NSW. A good example of why riparian zone management is important.
#CRPS is said to be incurable, but total remission IS POSSIBLE. If we keep on with the palliative care model we'll never know how many can recover. In my view, as someone in remission, we need to demand resources to help people actually heal, rather than only suppressing pain.
