Here’s an example from the Andes Yates case:
It’s not that mothers become murdeous in the sense of a murder done in malice and forthought.
Their severely delusional thinking leads them to believe they are “saving and protecting” their children by killing them. That’s usually the script running in their heads. In most cases such as these.
I don’t know enough about Lindsay’s specific delusions to commmet on hers.
Hers probably weren’t religious but many are, even if the person is not religious at all. It’s common for paranoid delusions to spiral off into a metaphysical direction. As the person becomes increasingly unaware and unreachable.
In orthodoxy, Adam and Eve (before the fall) had a communal based relationship that’s meant to reflect the communion of the persons with the Trinity. Meaning: there was no dominance hierarchy of authority, power, control, or subordination.
Adam had headship and primacy (he was created first) understood to mean representative-responsibility, and priestly service.
3:16 is a consequence of the fall and a curse. A curse to be healed and transformed in Christ.
My priest doesn’t talk sex during homily’s. That’s a private matter.
@KashifAlKufr@MuayShoo@aaron_clarey@XP_Unplugged That is definitely not the understanding of the orthodox saints Iv quoted. What you’ve stated is heretical. Here’s the Eastern Orthodox doctrine of the Trinity.

A husband’s authority is cruciform. The head exists to save and nourish the body, not to micromanage it into subservience. Lists that treat “authority” primarily as the right to control, turns marriage into marxist based power struggle. A power struggle completely of the world.
The Church teaches mutual submission “out of reverence for Christ” (Ephesians 5:21) within the ordered hierarchy. The husband leads as Christ leads-by self-emptying love. Not by compiling a list of veto powers. The wife submits as the Church submits-freely, not under compulsion or policing. Neither spouse is the other’s jailer or ruler.
Examples: Authority of a man to
- Control household spending
- Regulate families social media usage
- Over custody of children in event of divorce
- Dress & attire of the family
- Choosing which church to attend
etc, etc, etc
@jrackham81@PBDsPodcast@JoelWebbon His Calvinist theology is a catastrophe. He believes in eternal subordination of the son and that Eve was a subordinate servant before the fall. Which is heretical and his ideas on gender, all flow from that.

@ChristHalpert@KashifAlKufr@Halo3Groyper@PBDsPodcast@JoelWebbon I spend 3 hours at church on Sundays.. and everything I said in that post is 💯 correct btw. But he blocked me for making a true statement because he’s not very bright and prideful. Many such cases.
