The US picking up a sitting Member of Parliament is deeply concerning. Where is the mutual respect between nations? They could have engaged Ghanaian authorities and allowed him to avail himself for any investigation. Issuing an arrest warrant this way feels disrespectful to Ghana’s sovereignty. What if he comes out innocent? What will happen to the reputational damage?
