This might be a bit harsh, but it has to be said: A religion created by Satan of course would deceive its followers to follow him into hell.
Christ is King, we are not. Repent and believe in the Gospel, and you will have life and the Holy Spirit will sanctify falsehoods into truth.
1 Cor 2:1-7
1 And I, when I came to you, brothers, did not come proclaiming to you the testimony of God with lofty speech or wisdom. 2 For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. 3 And I was with you in weakness and in fear and much trembling, 4 and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5 so that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
6 Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away. 7 But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory.
@Clearpath__ Even if God appeared directly, many people would reject him because they would find an excuse not to believe and suppress the truth in unrighteousness.
"I must have dreamed", "It was an illusion", etc
@KingJamesTomato I love this. I agree with the doctrine of those who have agreed with Calvin's teachings. And he didn't teach the five point TULIP, only after he was dead did people who claimed to follow him invent it.
What's interesting is that in Islamic nations, you find corruption, dictatorship, war, poverty, and failed leadership. It's because the religion brings those things, and Christianity brings freedom and life.
I'm tired of seeing non Muslims asking why Muslims leave their countries and move to the West.
The answer is simple.
Most Muslims aren't running from Islam.
They're running from corruption, dictatorship, war, poverty, and failed leadership.
And if you really want fewer refugees, start asking your politicians why they're bombing, destabilizing, or interfering in those countries instead of blaming the people fleeing them.
Am I? The scripture says it, which I gave you. You must answer the scripture, not me. He didn't abolish the law, in him the law is fulfilled.
But for us, the law has been abolished in his flesh (Ephesians 2:15).
It is because of Christ and in Christ that we are justified, not because of any works we do: Galatians 5:4
I see this point made a lot by people still following the Law of Moses. Jesus fulfilled the Law so that we wouldn't have to, because we couldn't. So, for us, the Law is abolished toward us by faith in Christ. The Law is Holy and Good, and it's still intact, but the grace of God (Christ) saves us and cleanses all things with his perfect blood.
Ephesians 2:15
Ezekiel 13:10-14
10 Precisely because they have misled my people, saying, ‘Peace,’ when there is no peace, and because, when the people build a wall, these prophets smear it with whitewash, 11 say to those who smear it with whitewash that it shall fall! There will be a deluge of rain, and you, O great hailstones, will fall, and a stormy wind break out. 12 And when the wall falls, will it not be said to you, ‘Where is the coating with which you smeared it?’ 13 Therefore thus says the Lord God: I will make a stormy wind break out in my wrath, and there shall be a deluge of rain in my anger, and great hailstones in wrath to make a full end. 14 And I will break down the wall that you have smeared with whitewash, and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation will be laid bare. When it falls, you shall perish in the midst of it, and you shall know that I am the Lord.
