I lead Broward County’s Office of Regional Communications & Technology, and our true call is to serve. ‘We make better things, so we can make things better’.
The County is taking emergency communications to the next level with a MAJOR upgrade to its 911 system. 🚨The County Commission recently approved a new Next Generation 911 (NG911) platform that will support voice, text, images, video, and enhanced location information, helping first responders get critical information during an emergency, when seconds matter most.
The transition will roll out over the next 12 to 18 months and will improve reliability, coordination, cybersecurity, and future technology integration. More info: https://t.co/nco768gBA5
** The Office of Regional Communications and Technology is a service of the Broward County Board of County Commissioners.
