Voting intentions the big poll to top all others.🏆
If there was an election tomorrow who would you vote for?🤔
Repost after voting let's get as many votes as we can thank you.
I seem to have upset the @Nigel_Farage fan club - so let me be clear.
This man sows hate, lies and division.
He is a grifter and a conman.
He does not represent the vast majority of Britons.
RT if you agree
P.s. multiculturalism is great.
may I suggest instead of taking allotments away at huge loss to a large number of people that the same area could be nibbled off golf clubs to the detriment of far fewer folk

The Prime Minister must act with immediate airdrops of much-needed aid into Gaza and get other countries to do the same.
It is simply inhumane that Gaza faces starvation due to Israel’s aid blockade. Words alone won’t save lives.
MPs will this week vote on a £2 BILLION cut to disability benefits.
750,000 people will lose £3,000 a year.
This includes people who can’t use their hands, need help to eat or drink and have debilitating incontinence.
My Amendment would stop this cut.
Ask your MP to back it.
Kendall says reform of PIP assessments starts today.
Labour has repeatedly briefed that mental illness and neurodivergence are “overdiagnosed.”
PIP already discriminates against mental illness and other fluctuating conditions.
Mental health organisations need to be on this— now.
🚨 The rebrand of 'incapacity benefits' to 'UC Health' is peak neoliberal sleight-of-hand. Calling it 'health' masks the reality: it’s 'UC Illness’. This is a calculated move to sanitize austerity and shame claimants. 🧵1/5
LibDem MP Max Wilkinson makes an important Point of Order,
"During #PMQs I was sitting behind Nigel Farage I made some comments related to his second earnings"
"A Reform UK social media account digitally manipulated those comments to give the appearance that I had described Nigel Farage using a four letter expletive"
"This is misinformation, it is fake news, this is Trumpian tactics"
"It was reported to Elon Musk's X, no response was received"
"If footage in this House is allowed to be digitally manipulated for political ends, in the name of members of this House, then that puts at risks, proceedings in this house"
"And that puts at risk democracy"
"I raise this point of order today to put on the public record the facts, so my constituents and everyone else can know exactly what happened'
Reports Govt may partially U-turn on the Winter Fuel Payment cut by raising the effective eligibility threshold from £11,500.
That'd be welcome but still doesn't fix the worst underlying problem... the means testing mechanism (ie to get it you must claim Pension Credit) is flawed.
Around 700,000 of the most vulnerable pensioners, already earning under £11,500, don't get Winter Fuel Payments because they don't go through the overly arduous process of claiming Pension Credit. Thus they miss out in both the important support that brings and on Winter Fuel Payments. That needs to change.
None of this is new. Many of us have been shouting it until we're blue in the face. If a fix is to come, let it be a proper one, not just an electoral sticking plaster.
Outrageous. Trump has told the UK that if we want tariff relief we need to buy chlorinated chicken from the US! 🤢🐔 How dare he try and impose poor food standards in Britain. Sign the petition to keep chlorine-washed chicken off our shelves: https://t.co/Pz75MFV4kM
Trump despises the EU, while he is not on record in demanding the UK stay out of the EU's Single Market, and the EU's regulatory orbit, he has historically backed the UK’s departure from the EU, notably during his first term when he praised Brexit saying it would be a "great thing" for Britain. Comprehensive reasons or what?
Trump will continue to pressure Starmer that Britain must maintain its independence from the EU economically, as he wants a one-sided trade deal with the UK. Starmer will only continue to maintain his stubborn red lines on rejoining the EU, while totally capitulating to Trump's demands.
A free trade deal with the US will entail a flood of food-based products banned in the EU, many of which are not fit for human consumption, and which also contravene the EU's rules on environmental regulations.
The EU takes a precautionary approach, often banning substances until they are proven safe, while the U.S. tends to allow them unless they are proven harmful. Below are some key examples of American products or ingredients commonly banned in the EU:
1. Beef with Growth Hormones: In the U.S., hormones like recombinant bovine growth hormone (rBGH) and others (e.g., estradiol, testosterone) are used to increase cattle growth and milk production. The EU has banned these since 1989 due to potential health risks, such as links to cancer and hormonal imbalances, restricting most American beef imports unless certified hormone-free.
2. Chlorine-Washed Chicken: American poultry is often washed with chlorine to kill bacteria. The EU banned this practice in 1997, citing concerns over masking poor hygiene standards earlier in production and potential health risks from chemical residues, effectively barring most U.S. chicken.
3. Pork with Ractopamine: This growth-promoting drug is used in some U.S. pork production to produce leaner meat. The EU bans it due to concerns about cardiovascular risks in humans and animal welfare issues, limiting imports of treated pork.
4. Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs): Many American crops like corn, soy, and papaya are genetically modified. The EU heavily restricts GMOs, requiring rigorous approval processes and labeling. Unapproved GMO products, common in the U.S., are banned from sale in the EU.
5. Bread with Potassium Bromate: This dough conditioner, used in some U.S. breads to improve texture, is banned in the EU because it’s classified as a possible carcinogen by the International Agency for Research on Cancer. Products like certain American rolls or white breads can’t be sold in the EU if they contain it.
6. Foods with Azodicarbonamide (ADA): Found in some U.S. baked goods (e.g., sandwich breads or pastries), this chemical is banned in the EU due to potential respiratory and carcinogenic risks from its breakdown products, like urethane.
7. Brominated Vegetable Oil (BVO): Used in citrus-flavored sodas like some U.S. store-brand drinks, BVO contains bromine, linked to neurological and organ damage. The EU banned it, though the U.S. FDA only recently phased it out in 2024, with a compliance deadline of August 2025.
8. Certain Artificial Food Dyes: Dyes like Yellow 5, Yellow 6, and Red 40 are common in U.S. candies (e.g., Skittles), cereals, and drinks. The EU doesn’t outright ban them but requires warning labels due to links to hyperactivity in children, effectively limiting their use in American-formulated products. Red Dye No. 3, still used in some U.S. foods, is fully banned in the EU for its cancer risk in animals.
9. Titanium Dioxide in Food: This whitening agent, found in U.S. candies (e.g., Skittles), baked goods, and coffee creamers, was banned in the EU in 2022 after the European Food Safety Authority concluded it could potentially damage DNA and couldn’t be ruled safe.
@RestIsPolitics@campbellclaret@RoryStewartUK Why aren’t we talking about SEZ’s? Swathes of the uk destined to be out of local authority control and in the hands of commercial enterprise!
