This. Too much of training these days is focused on accommodating modern humanity's attention deficit brains under the guise of being 'entertaining'. You know what's entertaining? Doing the same basic session week in, week out but seeing improvement every time you do it.

@epberg@stevemagness@DrMJoyner What you’re missing is also that “Dad” should care more that his kid is having fun and learning something. Not if the kid has “talent.” Who cares if a child is GOOD at a sport if they don’t enjoy the sport and have fun for themselves.
