@InternetH0F This is more of an urban legend than actual fact. The earthquake took place in January, which isn't Milky Way core season. Not all of LA lost power, so there still would've been some degree of light pollution. The stars might've appeared a little brighter, but that's about it.
I captured another stabilized sky timelapse to visualize the Earthโs rotation. This is about 5 hours of real time. I also recorded a behind-the-scenes timelapse, as well. Captured at the Alabama Hills, CA in Sept 2022.
