We have recently added more titles to read or listen to FOR FREE on Libby (we're a Library and all of our books are free to read but it's a point worth making)!
We were especially excited to extend our selection of queer stories, both fiction and non-fiction. π³οΈβπ
For some relaxing reading in between your studies over the winter break, use your Brunel Library card to read hundreds of books for free online https://t.co/EG81WNaut2
To celebrate our birthday, we will be playing Pin The Pipe On Isambard Kingdom Brunel and Book Twister (where instead of coloured circles we use books with green/red/yellow/blue covers)...
@K_C_Mann@balconyshirts This is a very good point; we do check ours regularly to make sure they're genuine and haven't been replaced.
In @balconyshirts case, they'll be printed on their clothes so they should be safe.
Every Tuesday, the brilliant Academic Development Skills team run an informal study group that will help with improving study skills, essay writing and more!
Just pop-along to room BANN 019A on the Ground Floor of the Library on Tuesdays, 11am-12noon!
Today I donated some cool novels & short story collections to @Brunel_Libraryβs Reading for Pleasure scheme, & made up a load of zines for the Creative Writing Society to give away at the Freshers Fair tomorrow ππ€
@balconyshirts According to what I just read, it might be from the Romany word 'drom' meaning road and that it came to mean a place of residence along a road.

Congratulations to everyone graduating this summer!
Don't forget that you can continue to use the Library after graduation; go to https://t.co/gNoTiF4taj for more details!
