Intoxicating.
I’ve been programming for 45 years, since so was 10. I’ve been a pro game coder for 33 years. Everything from hand coded assembly to UE 5.8. The paradigm shift to agentic coding is intoxicating. It is the biggest productivity jump I have ever experienced.
i don’t think we’ve fully processed how big this AI wave shift we're living in really is.
every app, job and business that was built around humans doing the clicking is about to get rethought.
for 40 years computers were like cars where we had to do all the driving, and now they’re becoming chauffeurs where we just say where we want to go.
I’m calling it. Creative software is dead. It’s the end of an era.
Creative software 1.0 was about separating specific tasks into domains. Vector graphics, NLE, motion graphics, image editing, 3D, audio editing, compositing, etc. are highly specialized fields.
My guy @dhh out here making an entire agent OS with support from @spacexai but can’t build an agent MCP for @basecamp ?! I’m dying here 😭don’t make me go to slack

Can we get a software update that uses the interior cabin camera to see that my toddlers in their car seat in the backseat?
Every time I put them in the car I have to remember to turn on the AC for them in the back the truck should see that they’re back there automatically and turn the AC on if there’s a passenger in the back, especially a toddler which may not activate the seat sensor.
Sincerely all cybertruck fathers
