@jamesharrisonst@steelcityundrgr I grew up watching Marino beat the Steelers. It kills me to this day that we didn't draft him. It takes nothing away from Ben to admit Marino was an elite passer at all levels. Had the Steelers picked him, we would have at least two more Lombardi trophies.
@937theFan His arm talent is still in the top 10; his football acumen is at the very top. However, his mobility is near the bottom. Due to his inability to escape the rush, I can't put him above 20th among starters.
@JHartman_PIT No team can beat this Houston defense with an immobile quarterback. Rodgers is a sitting duck, especially on 3rd and long, which has been the case on nearly every possession.
@MichaelBeck56 Rodgers is definitely seeing ghosts. He's deathly afraid to get hit. The way he's shuffling his feet and hurrying throws is troubling. In today's NFL. You must have a mobile QB.
@MichaelBeck56 Especially considering the 1/2 sack they gave Garrett against the Bills. When Allen gave himself up, it was Alex Wright who touched him. But New York changed the sack to 1/2 for each due to Garrett providing the initial pressure. I doubt Watt would have been credited the same.
@RealSkipBayless You’re smarter than that. His only TD was a wounded duck that the DB totally misplayed. He threw 2 INTs and it should have been 4, one a pick 6. From a scouting standpoint, he looked terrible.
@PaulZeise Please explain to me why AR was so fixated on MVS those last four downs. MVS has done nothing to deserve it. He had Muth open for a TD on 3rd down and Gainwell wide open for a TD on 4th down. He never even looked at them.
@KTSmithFFSN It looked like he had Muth open on one play and Gainwell on another, both for TDs. For no logical reason, he was fixated on MVS all three plays.
@DavidMTodd If you look at the video taken from the right side of DK, he grabbed the guy’s wig and tugged on it. Then he whipped the wig at the end. From the left it looked like a punch but he never hit the guy. He should be fined for engaging with the fan but no suspension is warranted.
@KTSmithFFSN Poor decision given it was 4th and ten, and it was a horribly designed play. With Huntley now at QB for the Ravens, Vrabel should have tried to pin them deep.
All that being said, the Patriots look terrible.
@JHartman_PIT Given how poorly this defense has played, they have to get a turnover or else Flacco will get them into field goal range. No one is even close to Chase.
@JHartman_PIT The receivers are not getting open despite Witherspoon being out. If this game doesn’t convince Kahn that they need a WR2, nothing will. Rodger’s has to be extremely frustrated.
