This is most likely agent fees renamed into "professional fee".
If you're renting, the LANDLORD SHOULD BE THE ONE PAYING AGENT FEES, NOT YOU.
Under Rule 89 (3):
"A registered estate agent shall only charge and accept fees specified from the person who appoints him."
Responding to a property listing ≠ appointing them.
The landlord hired them, so the landlord pays the agent fees.
Zoo Negara had to build a panda complex to accommodate the needs of the pandas on loan from China. Why does Malaysia NOT impose the same strict rules in providing the best for our animals on loan abroad? Any less and it’s literally sanctioned wildlife trafficking!
“Malaysia negara demokrasi” tapi rakyat tak boleh duduk di TAMAN AWAM untuk kutip tandatangan petisyen? Authorities were called and asked Roshinee for a PERMIT. FOR WHAT? It is not a demonstration which also does not require PERMIT but only a NOTICE.
DILARANG PONTENG PARLIMEN IS NOW LIVE! ✅
I will be standing in front of Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad until 3pm!
If you believe Malaysian MPs should should be disciplined for skipping Parlimen (ie. their workplace!) w/o cause, then come sign our Parliamentary Petition ✍🏽
Ep. 2 of DILARANG PONTENG PARLIMEN - The geng gets a side quest
In order to discipline truant MPs, I will be using a RARE political strategy, which has only been used once before in Malaysian history! 🤯
Penat tengok Ahli Parlimen kenyang makan gaji buta tapi ponteng Parlimen?
Tandatangan petisyen dgn Roshinee pd Sabtu ni kat Bangunan SAS, KL depan Dataran Merdeka
18 April 2026
9am - 3pm
In other news: water is wet.
Yes it’s costly, because you are paying for mistakes made 30 years ago. Doesn’t mean you don’t need to plan to fix it. Or healthcare. Or taxes.
Imagine being able to skip work for six months, and still get paid a full salary for it? Malaysian MPs can do just that and face no consequences apparently?!!
Protests are not supposed to be held only in 'appropriate' settings. They are supposed to disrupt, to call attention to topic of protest.
It's not a polite forum at designated spots.
Of course the event organisers malu and upset. But that was the point.
This government is repeating the same mistakes that brought down its predecessors. Calling for others to tighten their belts while you sit in the plush backseats of Vellfires with police escorts rarely earns public goodwill.
Malaysia desperately needs a functioning Opposition. An Opposition that cannot function, cannot provide checks and balance, and cannot debate is not an Opposition that ever deserves to come into power. PN is a coalition of schemers, nothing more.
Malaysians apply the jobs &/or are offered with the jobs, do it openly & legally… not stealing
Singaporeans pump the petrol that is not meant for them, do it secretly & illegally… stealing
If u still can’t differentiate that, please check with Kingsley, my 13 yo nephew
With the failure of yesterday’s vote, anyone can become PM for more than 10 years. Even countries like Indonesia has abandoned this outdated practice
Staying in power for too long undermines the idea of democracy. Those who did not vote are deeply shameful.
If I don't see RapidKL holding a press conference in the next 24 hours, they are not serious about this matter
Tell the public what was the exact issue. Having 30+ trains taken out of service over 5 days is not a good look for anyone in RapidKL, especially the maintenance team.
Is PDRM actually making the claim that Bloomberg — presumably the international media agency here — is trying to force a coup d'etat and topple the government by reporting about the alleged "corporate mafia" and a senior civil servants' very unusual stock holdings?
That is odd.
To participate in Malaysian urban middle-class life you need, at minimum:
A car (RM50-80k, 7-9 year loan)
A home (RM400-600k in greater KL, 30-35 year mortgage)
Children's education (increasingly private or tuition-heavy)
Before you buy a single luxury item, before you travel, before you eat at anything above a mamak ~ you are already committed to RM2,000-3,500/month in debt servicing just for the basic infrastructure of a working life.
