It has been VERY well documented that they have daily meetings about lineups, bullpen management, etc.

This was also very evident when they fired Servais and Dan first took over, and the same questionable Platoon Ball™️ decisions immediately continued in the first few games of Dan’s tenure.

So yeah, Dan may physically write the lineup card out on a sheet of paper, but Jerry and Justin have their paws all over it on a nightly basis.
