My point is these superstars are going to get paid ridiculous amounts of money in free agency regardless, and 9 times out of 10, they’re taking the highest bidder. Currently, there are maybe three teams who can go toe-to-toe with each other in offers. 27 teams cannot.

There needs to be a fix.
