7/ Moral of the story and message to anyone out there: If I lay a really awkward pitch on you - Sorry!
But I swear, the book is totally worth reading..........
@aftncanada@JoeDeasyVAN They should fly Phonzie out for the announcement. Have him on a stage like a DJ and then go 'Whats this, I've got a new station!? Its...RADIO MULLER' and then Muller bursts through a wall like the koolaid man and he's got a space helmet on shouting "THE RAUMDEUTER HAS ARRIVED"
@aftncanada@WhitecapsFC@FelipeV_FC Home form has been so abysmal this year. If we lose today, this will be only the second time since joining MLS the Caps will finish the season with a losing record at home. Yikes.
@aftncanada This feels like the worst loss of the MLS era because it was the biggest wasted opportunity. They've never had a better chance to showcase the team and put on a show, but they bottled it. They desperately need to figure things out, soon. Otherwise this season is a colossal waste.
@BrentToderian I was at a Canucks game a month ago and they did these 'cheer for yes', 'boo for no' questions on the screen. The Bike Lanes question got a far bigger boo than anything else the entire night, including the dodgy refs. It was incredibly disheartening.
@aftncanada Team definitely didn't look very sharp. I thought Picault looked good when he came in, though from our view behind the net it was mystifying why he held his run on that Ahmed cross.
@CraigBaird Solid list!
Some possible adds:
Tombstone Park
Torngat Mountains
Wapusk
Riding Mountain
Tumbler Ridge has so many waterfalls, but Kinuseo Falls might top that list
Wells Grey is also beautiful.
I've also always thought the Rocky Mountain Trench is very cool as well.
@wilkins_caleb24 I can't figure out how the write-up says the Caps advanced stats don't compare favourably with their results, meanwhile everywhere else is saying stuff like this:
@HardcoreHistory L'Anse aux Meadows has been a world heritage site since 1978 lol, and was a national historic site 10 years before that. Always surprised when it's 'new' news to people.
@HardcoreHistory I think the restoration, in certain cases can be instructive. But seeing major sites in their aged state also imparts a weight of history, and a lesson on the transitory nature of human accomplishment, that a fully restored site just wouldn't.
@Ranting_Trans @RaeGun2k It depends on the province and/business. In BC you get 5 days paid sick leave. And some businesses offer paid sick days.
My wife is Aussie and the differences are interesting. Aus tends to get more vacation and sick days, but the benefits here are miles better.
Grabbed Pip's Spicy Encounters from @SpicyEncounters. Super stoked to start using these on my players. Way better than the vanilla monsters in the official books. D&D *needs* third party creators like this!! #DnD#OpenDnD
