The relief from scratching an itch is pain fading, not pleasure 'entering' the experience. The itch/pain of desire is only present because one does not understand the so called "pleasure" they crave-- a pain that is intentionally cultivated to a high pitch in pursuing pleasure
Desire is painful. We are touched, pained, disturbed by the pressure of desire. It is not the world that pressures you but only the desire for the perceptions of the world that disturbs.
