Big news. I’ve felt a call to get more involved in our political process, and I’m stepping forward to run as a delegate to the @INGOP State Convention. I’d be grateful for the opportunity to serve, and encouraged by what happens when grassroots conservatives show up.
As a former stepchild, foster child, and now adoptee—as well as a stepmom myself—I didn’t take @GovBraun’s comments as excluding other family units. I took them as celebrating the family structure that has historically produced the strongest and healthiest communities.

Good to see people speaking out, but it’s unfortunate how hard our elected officials make it for citizens to be heard. Most people don’t want data centers in their communities, but it takes a lot more than dozens of people showing up before anyone listens.
Dozens of east-side residents waited four hours in a marathon hearing on a proposed data center. They will get a final decision July 1.
