Prof Mokgokong served on the SAMDC for 25 years being one of the first black people in the council. He also served at one point as the Deputy President of the Interim Medical and Dental Council. He is the 1st black Gynaecologist to qualify and practise in SA

Dr Sizwe Nxasana holds a BCom, BCompt (Hons), CA (SA) qualifications. He started his career at Unilever. In 1989 he established Sizwe & Co, the first black-owned audit practice in Kwazulu Natal.
