they had the members photos covering their bedroom walls, celebrated their birthdays with bts themed cakes and worked hard and saved up so they could finally see bts on tour once the boys were discharged. they wrote the softest and sweetest letters to the members, letters that never fail to make me cry every time i read them.

they dreamed about hearing new bts music. they dreamed about when they could see the boys together again. they dreamed about finally standing in a stadium with thousands of other army.

instead, they never got to see the members come home. they never got to hear Arirang. they never got the chance to attend a concert. the members photos were in Tania’s funeral because her mother knew how much the boys meant to her.

tonight in paris, a iranian army held up a banner with our girls faces and it appeared on the big screen.

our girls finally made it to a bts concert.
but only through their photos💔

i am so sorry you aren’t here to witness this yourselves.
i’m sorry i’m here watching your faces on a stadium screen while you were robbed of the chance to stand in that crowd and experience the moment you waited so long for.
