@weaver_cards Regardless we know the Mets could buy any player they wanted. They appear to be taking the smart approach and trying to spend wisely & build the farm & splash spend when needed (Soto, MAYBE Tucker, MAYBE Skrubal trade & extension)
What will they do?!? They have LOTS of needs
@weaver_cards The Mets are confusing. We all thought they would spend whatever with Cohen but w/ Stearns the GM, itโs a lot more towards MoneyBall than the spend mentality we thought Queens was getting. Maybe they have something up their sleeve like a Skrubal trade followed by Tucker signing?
@JeffPassan This is HUGE. Iโm very excited for a full season of Waldrep, ๐ฏ healthy Strider (last year he was still building strength & feeling back) Schwelley in this healthy Staff and of course the ๐ Chris Sale leading the way
Between Robert Suarez and Raisel Iglesias, Atlanta now has two of the five relievers with the most saves over the last two seasons. With a healthy Chris Sale, Spencer Schwellenbach and Spencer Strider, plus a full season of Hurston Waldrep, their pitching could take a huge leap.
HUGE Free Agent signing by the Atlanta Braves ๐ฅ
This gives Atlanta probably the best 8th & 9th inning combo. When Joe Jimenez gets healthy youโll have a really REALLY GOOD 7-8-9 trio to shut errrrr down ๐๐ฝ๐ฅ๐ช๐ฝ

Great signing for @Braves to platoon in the OF - Yaz can play ALL OF positions. D is one of his best strengths
When he was traded to @Royals before last seasons deadline the change of scenery really helped him His OPS jumped from .685 to .839 / 9Hrs in 50 games #BravesCountry
Outfielder Mike Yastrzemski and the Atlanta Braves are in agreement on a two-year, $23 million deal that includes a third-year club option, sources tell ESPN. First on the agreement was @ByRobertMurray.
