The scare campaign against Zehut doesn’t address the party’s arguments – it uses only one tactic: fear! The fear of the left.

For three years, the right has busied itself with one thing only: not determining how we ended up with the October 7th massacre, not figuring out how can we prevent its recurrence, but solely with showing that the left is guilty and the right is winning.

We won't change the left; and a Hamas state under international auspices including a continuous flow of 700 trucks of supplies to the enemy - and all this after what they did to us on October 7th - this is not exactly a victory...

After such an achievement, all that’s left is to frighten us with is the worst of all - namely, an Eisenkot government.

And it is indeed frightening; however, Netanyahu has laid out quite explicitly that he intends to form a unity government with Eisenkot - meaning all these elections revolve around is the question of who will come first in the rotation. Both sides promise that they will not establish a "Palestinian" state, but Netanyahu is committed to this vision in the 21-point document and is promoting it on the ground in Gaza. It doesn't seem Eisenkot is going to outflank him from the right.

Does this mean that the ideological right hasn’t accomplished anything under the Netanyahu government? Of course it has! The weapons distributed by Minister Ben-Gvir and the commendable progress in settlement in Area C led by Minister Smotrich are very important achievements. But history shows that these are tactical accomplishments that can always be reversed.

The unspoken agreement between the ideological right and Netanyahu is simple – you let us build in Area C (and destroy in Area B) and we’ll let you build a Palestinian state for Hamas...

Confusing? Deceptive? Well, let's put it simply: if you've given up hope for victory, for the change in the political or security policy that could prevent the next massacre, if you think that in the "broad" unity government Ben-Gvir and Smotrich will be able to act as they do today, then continue to vote as before.

But – if you haven't given up hope, if you’re not ready after the horror of October 7th to succumb to the scare campaign –

If you want a way out of the abyss into which the previous votes have led us, then there is only one party charting a clear path to a different destination – Zehut.

The upcoming elections are not crucial because they determine who will go first in a rotation; they are crucial because they determine whether we pave the path to the next massacre with our own ballots. Those who vote for more of the same will get exactly what they voted for.

But for those who will not succumb to fear, for those who are not willing to accept the next massacre as a decree of fate, for those whose hearts still beat with hope - the Zehut ballot will be waiting at the ballot box.

To Trump: In the Middle East, loyalty is currency. If you abandon your closest friend halfway through a fight and cut deals behind their back while leaving them exposed, don't expect anyone to trust your guarantees again. You told the world, "The U.S. and Israel carried out an operation against Iran," then walked away and left your ally standing alone.

In the Middle East, we don't judge friends by speeches; we judge them by who stays when the missiles fly. A person who abandons an ally halfway and cuts deals behind their back is not someone you call in a crisis.
You will say it's about American interests. Fine. But others also have interests, and they have memories. You can call it "America's interests." We call it something else: leaving your friends in the storm.

Before asking, "Why don't they defend themselves?" remember that countries like Israel did and are still doing so alone.

And also remember that the UAE defended itself, struck back forcefully, and banned the Muslim Brotherhood. Many of your countries in the West did neither.

The lesson is simple. If you can leave your closest friend exposed today, why should anyone trust your promises tomorrow? Maybe it's time for the Middle East to start thinking about alternatives.

And yes, when Iran strikes again, don't assume the Middle East will dial Washington. People don't call someone who might leak information to Turkey or cut a deal with Tehran while their friends are still under fire.
