Drow irregulars in human service. Renown night raiders, they had a reputation for being undisciplined and brutal, notorious for looting and preying on civilians as a result of a lack of regulation and of the expectation that they would support themselves off the land.
Absolut MUST Watch!
Joe Biden's top official for Europe Amanda Sloat casually admitting explosive facts that the Blob not only suppressed for years, but you would have been accused of being a Putin apologist if you ever raised.
Remember the energy expended to silence and DISCREDIT anyone pointing to Nato expansion as ONE of the causes of the war and that if Nato membership for Ukraine was taken off the table, the war could have been avoided/stopped?
At Quincy, we were attacked from every direction for pointing out this reasonable assessment.
And now, Sloat says in an interview that had Ukraine opted for neutrality, it "may well have" prevented the war and the invasion.
Now, after 100,000s dead and many voices in the West who pointed this out at the time silenced or discredited, Sloat asks "Would that [Ukraine neutrality] have been better to do before the war started [or]... in the Istanbul talks (April 2024)? It certainly would have prevented the destruction and the loss of life."
But remember, at the time, arguing that taking the FALSE option of Ukraine NATO membership (since the US had no plan of letting Ukraine into NATO anyways) was met with disdain. The argument was not that it wouldn't work, but rather, "NATO expansion has nothing to do with the war and if you say that it does, you are on Putin's side."
Those who killed the chance to prevent the war should be remembered similarly as those who started this illegal invasion - as well as those who started the illegal invasion of Iraq.
I posted a little while ago that Israel had been militarily defeated by Hamas in Gaza and got some incredulous reactions. Well, let's review the results of the war:⬇️
1. The IDF failed to secure populated areas in Gaza.
2. Israeli forces withdrew to positions outside those areas under a negotiated armistice with Hamas.
3. Hamas remains armed and intact.
4. Israel traded Palestinian prisoners for surviving Israeli hostages and bodies at an obscene ratio.
5. Aid is now flowing into Gaza.
6. Under the terms of the armistice, foreign troops are going to be deployed on the territory of the State of Israel to protect Palestinians from the IDF.
7. None of these foreign troops can be expected to confront Hamas or any other Palestinian militants any more effectively or energetically than UNIFIL has confronted Hezbollah.
8. Netanyahu is wanted at The Hague for war crimes.
This is the absolute best result out of an open war that Hamas could have reasonably expected given the colossal disparity in military capability between them and the IDF.
Much of this, by the way, was the direct result of a collapse in the combat effectiveness of the IDF. And this was not the result of "casualty aversion" by Israeli forces - the IDF in Gaza took significantly heavier relative casualties*, under far more favorable combat conditions and with far better equipment, than US forces did in Baghdad during the Iraq War.
* The IDF took 471 KIA over two years in an urban area of two million under large-scale combat conditions with omnipresent heavy armor, drone surveillance, and air support, and in which they made no serious attempt to interact with the civilian population; US forces took approximately the same number of troops KIA over the same period (approximately 500 from March 2003 to March 2005) in a city of six million under insurgency conditions in which soldiers were far more vulnerable to ambushes and IEDs, against enemy forces that were likely somewhat better-equipped if less motivated.
This collapse in Israeli combat effectiveness - and with it a failure to accomplish tactical tasks that eventually added up to strategic defeat for Israel - was instead due to "combat aversion" by the IDF. In a pattern mirroring that of many declining militaries over the years Israeli troops systematically refused to dismount, refused to aggressively engage the enemy in close combat, and relied on standoff fires to solve all tactical problems. This resulted in a glacial operational pace and allowed Palestinian fighters - many of them using weapons as simple as hand-placed satchel charges - to routinely engage and destroy Israeli tanks and APCs (with infantry dismounts uselessly locked inside) as they blundered through Gaza's burned-out ghost-cities.
So, yes, Israel was defeated by Hamas in the late war. This defeat was not due to any strategic weakness or external political pressure - Netanyahu received a blank check to prosecute the war from everyone who could have influenced him and vast quantities of war materiel to boot, and Israel's strategic picture actually improved during the war with Assad's ouster in Syria - but because the IDF was tactically defeated in Gaza and culminated well short of the objective.
You're a Soviet railroad commissar. No markets. No prices. Just you and the inhospitable taiga. How do you accomplish 300 million cubic meters of earthworks, 27 kilometers of tunnels, 3,145 kilometers of track, 3,200 structures, 527 communication lines, and 341 bridges in just 10 years?
This simple question reveals why the Railway Troops are awesome 😎
“It’s annoying how humans keep changing their stupid wars. I mean, every 40 years or so, they change everything!” Said an #elf
“In the old times, you learned how to fight, and that lasted centuries!”
In fact, RICO was correct. 2013 #drawing.
I will say it again, Russia’s JFE into Hostomel was one of their most successful operations of the war.
It was only after the armored follow-on forces showed up that they moved towards Kyiv and light infantry attacks proved their worth by defeating the operation in the end.
The Gog and Magog scenario in Europe
> Pull the U.S. military out of Europe and make the EU puppets fill the power vacuum
> Ramp up arms production and military spending by increasing national debts
> Send professional White troops to fight in Ukraine under the new unified command
> Continue to flood the continent with foreign invaders, eroding the economic, social, and demographic fabric of European nations
> Handle the rising public disgruntlement by bringing the Zio MEGA crew to power and “reforming” the EU (hello Orbán)
> Clamp down on the real right and implement a social-credit surveillance system under the guise of restoring order (Patriot Act Euro edition)
> Keep bringing the migrants in—legally, through the back door—and make sure that the threat of war is sufficiently great to keep the native populations in check
> Portray the political changes in Europe internationally as “the rise of the new authoritarian far-right” with Nazi Germany overtones
> Continue funneling money and European men to the Eastern Front at a moderate pace, under the guise of defending sovereignty
> Provide plenty of “neo-Nazi” propaganda material for the Chabad-controlled gang in the Kremlin (swastikas and Iron Cross symbols show up everywhere)
> Boost anti-fascist sentiments among the Russians and prepare them mentally for an extended “denazification” military campaign in Europe
> Maintain an overly aggressive stance toward the Russian Federation from the European side
> Make sure that enough professional EU troops have perished, enough money has been squeezed out from the people, and enough invaders have been brought in to ensure demographic dominance—all under a pseudo-patriotic facade
> When the timing is right, push the Eurasian forces into Europe and complete the takeover and destruction of Edom ("Rome")
We need to stay two steps ahead of these processes in order to avoid getting sucked in. Don’t let your guard down—wishful thinking won’t get us out of this mess.
