Appreciated the chance to meet with @immivoice about the importance of Congress passing the EAGLE Act, legislation I introduced in the Senate with @SenatorHick.
The immigration system is broken for those who are trying to legally come to our country for a better way of life. It’s time to change this.
My legislation will be a win for all Americans as it will improve our inefficient immigration system which has contributed to illegal immigration over time.
Special thanks to @RepMcCormick@CongressmanRaja & @RepJayapal for introducing H.R.6542 – the Immigration Visa Efficiency and Security Act. We look forward to visiting the Hill next week to create awareness on why this critical bipartisan bill is necessary to pass this Congress.
Eternally grateful to @SenatorHick and @SenKevinCramer for leading the bipartisan bill to remove per-country limits on Employment-Based Green Cards. We look forward to EAGLE Act's quick passage. Join us for the effort Dec 3-5 in DC : https://t.co/lFLp1AUpmB
Caps on employment-based visas are holding back our economy at a time when so many industries are hurting for workers.
Our bipartisan EAGLE Act is a commonsense fix so employers can focus on hiring immigrants based on their merit, not their birthplace.
And what about legal immigrants… you are helping the big tech companies with indentured servitude #H1isHumanTrafficking
Biden makes border history with most immigrant encounters in August ever recorded https://t.co/F1pvfYYbnM
As the largest organization of members currently on H1B visa stuck in green card backlogs, we completely agree with @VivekGRamaswamy & others willing to speak the truth: H1B visa is, in fact, indentured servitude that only benefits the company that sponsors the visa, but is bad for everyone else. We agree - it is time to gut H1B #H1isHumanTrafficking

Last point. Every change @uscis has made on this list is to benefit employers. They either make it easier to hire workers or lay off workers without getting sued. Securing any change to help workers will require major effort to overcome tech opposition.

With all due respect to USCIS, this list is like telling people on the Titanic that you cleaned the deck chairs, scrubbed the floors, and shined the instruments. It is worse than a joke. We will have one last proposal soon that, if they don’t take, will show they don’t want to help people. https://t.co/bR7fI2tz2h
A sleeping giant has been awakened today. @immivoice is a group with standing that can sue to challenge anything this administration has done, or will do, to place people in the green card line ahead of its members. It is a shame that it has come to this.
I cannot express how unconscionable and embarrassing this is. A common sense fix that had been done before with bipartisan support is suddenly the one “no go” for this Administration. In addition, they offer no alternatives other than “pound sand, keep working and avoid dying.”
It will not go without a reply that none of the tech, business ,or immigration advocacy groups—or even anyone other than members of Congress—even bothered to lift a finger to try to help. Yet they readily jump to hurt the people in the backlog to prevent #greencardequality.
Dear IV members, if you know, or work at, a big tech company that has a practice of withdrawing approved I-140s for anyone who leaves the employment, or any other immigration status related punishments; please email us at [email protected] as we will be filing human trafficking cases against big tech companies (you can remain anonymous) 1/2
As per the law - “Human Trafficking involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion to obtain some type of labor or commercial sex act.”
H1 visa is Human Trafficking visa #H1BisHumanTrafficking

H1 visa is Human Trafficking Visa. We will not stop advocating for those in need. We will continue to work and will soon be placing a spotlight on all of the people involved in maintaining this human trafficking ring for the benefit of tech companies. 3/3
Biden Administration and Tech Companies are complicit to and subservient of H1B human traffickers. We have to just admit it. There is no hope that Members of Congress or anyone else can persuade the staff at the WH who all want tech jobs when they leave WH. 2/3
Totally shocked and dismayed to learn that Biden Administration has refused to help us. They are taking pride in their cruelty and are bragging that they will NEVER help us with visa bulletin relief. At the same time they give illegal paroles to 1 million people per year with no ties to the US. 1/3
Great question by @FrancoOrdonez at @NPR This admin did not say “ask congress” when it came to helping 20 other countries with work permits and advance paroles. It gives these people work permits within days of getting here. #stoptheh1bservitude
