Ya know, maybe, just maybe - Y'all might be violating the law with that mask mandate there considering the ruling given today.
@PeopoliSite@jeremyct Yeah folk don't realize even if it was cars you didn't want (and that wasn't always the case) you removed a ton of serviceable parts from the market too. Newer cars ain't built to last nearly as long, and have VERY little tolerance to lack of maintenance.
@anatolii_k57@TMSuccessful You know why?
The pay is garbage.
I could've had a job with them out of the Cincinnati DC driving semi for them, the pay was $34 an hour. If you convert my pay to a hourly rate I make around $52/hr currently.
The contractors they use pay something like in the $20/hr range.
@robcarpenter Folks need to stop trying to be the traffic police for everyone else on the road, especially when they're the ones holding the whole line up.
@robcarpenter For all the retards in this thread, you know what would've happened if the idiot in the subaru didn't brake check the welding rig? nothing. It was a response to trying to wreck him out.
@EdenNohraMD@WallStreetApes ACA prevents that type of coverage from ever existing outside of medicaid anymore. ACA also encouraged hospitals and insurance companies to consolidate breeding entire monopolies of healthcare systems throughout the country.
@EdenNohraMD@WallStreetApes Yeah, the better thing would've been going back to the insurance coverage I had pre-2014. It'd be fantastic. My cost for coverage has changed very little, my actual benefit has gone down the shitter and has never recovered. All insurance plans have.
@supertrucker I imagine, when I see that 1099 at the end of the job description, that the folks that take that job know how it feels to get bent over and fucked with 12 grit sandpaper without even so much as spit to lubricate it.
@EdenNohraMD@WallStreetApes Now? its a crapshoot, might be $70, might be $200 depending on how billing goes. Our plan got 86'd for being a 'cadillac' plan and we're 80/20 now after I meet my deductible of $6k.
@EdenNohraMD@WallStreetApes Want to know what my cost to see someone like you in clinic was before obummercare? If you're a real person that is?
$40. Out the door. That was it. cost me $50 a month.
$20 for GP, $40 for specialty, $100 for ER. everything else was covered 100%. and that wasn't even the best.
@TheAKGuy Congrats on having gun jesus show off the AK-50! Loved seeing the iterations of it getting detailed down.
I also imagined you being the meme of the guy in the cuck chair saying "Yes, Go ahead and disassemble my gun, its ok" while it was going on 🤣
@supertrucker Them OTR companies getting them out of the 'school' are predatory/pay absolute garbage. I work LTL and my mileage might be the same but I make 82CPM plus task pay plus hourly pay when I'm a glorified forklift operator. and thats only if I only go to the original destination hub
