2 weeks ago i finally got signed off to be a band 6 specialist wheelchair therapist/ band 6 senior occupational therapist. Not bad for only being qualified a year 🥳💪

💜🐾RPD ELSA - UPDATE 🐾💜

Good afternoon!

We thought you’d like an update on the gorgeous RPD Elsa, who so many of you have brilliantly supported over the last 24 hours.

Elsa had been in hospital for just over a week. Two hospitals in fact. She has had numerous surgeries, procedures, medication, oxygen, treatments for her incredibly serious case of a stomach torsion or ‘bloat’.

Quite simply she has been extraordinary and over the last two days, having had major surgery last week, she has literally bounced back. Mother Nature is an amazing thing.

She still has a long road ahead - but she will be fully recovered and back to her wonderful, funny, crazy self before we know it. (Her mums words!)

Elsa is being kept as quiet as possible, she is RAVENOUS, (always a good sign), but little and often is the way forward, until she’s stronger.

Elsa is getting a LOT of cuddles, rest, and time with her Mum and Dad, and the family, but she is a retired police dog and so she’s always on high alert, so stopping her from leaping up is a challenge..

But the family wanted us to thank each and every one of you for being there for them.

For every donation, every message, every 💜 you’ve sent, they’ve seen it, and they are literally speechless at the kindness and generosity shown.

We too are unendingly grateful, as we will be supporting, alongside @PawsUpBob Elsa and her family throughout this journey, and beyond!!

We think you’re all amazing and we cannot thank you enough. Because of you, we’re only £500 off our target. It’s astonishing, the support has brought tears to our eyes.
