\Someone pointed out why it was in that way... it wasn't meant for Jean, it was meant for another character BUT...

Seems like what I've said keeps coming true.

\Okay, no one's got this yet so I'll bring it up...

Have any of you seen 'The Raft'?

Folks were wondering why May's Aether (proto symbiote) dissolves normal humans if not fed other energy. It's a take on that, thus her near obsessiveness about regulating herself.

[SCP: ???? Symbiote - AETHER 🎭 @BuddingMagic]

"What do I think?"
{"We EAT her!"}

"I think she's faking it. I've picked up NO abnormal mental readings from her. And that's before looking at evidence of her planning things methodically, which ends that whole discussion."

{"WE. EAT. HER!"}
"Now now Aether, we wait first."

[SCP: ???? Symbiote - AETHER 🎭 @BuddingMagic]

"Positioning!"

[SCP: ???? Symbiote - AETHER 🎭 @BuddingMagic]

"Wait, Jean mentally froze EVERYONE!? Did she HOLD every vehicle or heavy machinery that was being used?

Did she just fuck over the Mutant Population?

Power Abuse, short and simple. If I knew a lawyer, I'd convince pushing because who knows how many were hurt in THOSE cases."

[SCP: ???? Symbiote - AETHER 🎭 @BuddingMagic]

"May, you've been gone for a while, what happened?"

May, full candor, "Well... some weird spaceship monster thing yeeted me into another galaxy, which promptly blew up."

"You're joking..."

May:

[SCP: ???? Symbiote - AETHER 🎭 @BuddingMagic]

\So yeah, folks defending Jean with this new movie, not a shock at all to me. Not even a little bit. But the Purple man does it to Jessica Jones and he's BAD and WRONG and EVIL.

Jean does it to more people and it's good because, "She's got Trauma..."

Bitch, we all have that!

[SCP: ???? Symbiote - AETHER 🎭 @BuddingMagic]

\\People wonder why I harp on this. It is because of how responsibility of power is tossed aside for some folks. They don't think of how their character's powers uses could cause problems.

[SCP: ???? Symbiote - AETHER 🎭 @BuddingMagic]

\I've had this stance for a fucking WHILE now... so this new talk about Jean Grey is just retreading ground for me.

[SCP: ???? Symbiote - AETHER 🎭 @BuddingMagic]

\\I stand by prior statement that Jean Grey was turned into a mental-rapist of sorts, as per Bobby Drake.

It can be argued she changed his sexuality and gaslit him but that is NOT where my stance on Jean comes from...
