My first layout was a 009 one, which I have plans to overhaul, but i thought to show you the first things for it. The engine is a 3d print by Model Engines Works on shapeways running on a cut down Kato chassis. The coaches are kits by @Budget_Railways and was fantastic.
Hi everyone. Doug has a new Twitter account linked to his other hobby with the electronics society at Surrey University. He is the new PR officer so it would be great if a few of you could follow his account, thanks :) @SurreyEARS

Sudden last minute change to my exhibition layout ready for Sompting show on Saturday. I found this building in the loft which I forgot I had made some years ago and it's ideal for the tram station. https://t.co/RbipIQLW34

The basic naff little Hornby Hut, turned into something quite nice. A bit of paint, a black wash and some brick paper and it's nice enough for anyone's layout. You can pick them up for a few pence so a nice budget addition https://t.co/I9Kr3ZOzOC
Making hedges from nylon pan scourer , PVA glue and scatter. Cheap, quick, simple and effective. I use a mix of whatever I can get cheap. https://t.co/0LeIp6xUUg
The finished store buildings for the Army Depot on my shed OO Model Railway. They are by anyscale models, they are resin and come unpainted, but paint up really well https://t.co/sucEYeiXvm
