"@GovWike goes around declaring who will be returned to the @nassnigeria & who will win in the FCT & in what states.
@m_akpakomiza goes around promising that @officialABAT will get 2.5 million votes from Edo State.
The State Chairman of the @OfficialAPCNg [Edo State] promises #AK47 bullets for anyone who stands in their way of delivering that.
@inecnigeria says nothing;
@PoliceNG is un-looking;
@OfficialDSSNG is silent.
Even @KukahBishop of @KukahCentre & Gen Abdulsalami, the leaders of the National Peace Committee, who got the parties to enter into this #PeaceAccord to ensure a peaceful election have all kept mum.
Meanwhile, the INEC Chairman is the first to open his gob when ordinary citizens do something modest...."

Cletus Ibeto has made a bold statement regarding the cement industry in Nigeria, asserting, “My cement was stronger, more durable, and significantly cheaper than Dangote’s. However, out of envy, Dangote influenced Obasanjo to unjustly shut down my factory.”
Ibeto claims that his cement was the most affordable globally, stating, “I was not competing with Dangote; I was competing with the international market. While China sold cement at ₦5,000, I offered mine at ₦4,000 to Nigerians. My vision was straightforward: to ensure that every Nigerian, regardless of their income, could eventually afford to build their own home.”
Currently, the price of cement in Nigeria is approximately ₦15,000, whereas it is only ₦10,000 in Ghana. Ibeto maintained, “This situation would not have arisen had my factory remained operational. Under my management, the price of cement would not have exceeded ₦7,000.”
He further accused Dangote of intentionally seeking to establish a monopoly: “He aimed to dominate the market and undermine the South-East, as the Igbos are the primary builders. That was the underlying agenda. I will continue to assert that if my factory were operational today, Nigerians would not be suffering under the heavy burden of soaring cement prices.”
@Manlike_ED South East doesnt need S S to be great. South East Igbos need South South Igbos in one Ethno linguistic Region. Are you dumb?. If the South East needs the rest of the SOUTH South in the future in any shape or form, it wl be negotiated. You claim to hv resources, but very poor
@247IGBO Efulefu. Let me see what he will tell South Easteners when he goes for campaign. AMAECHI said he is not Igbo, built rail lines to other parts of Nigeria & Maradi, Niger Rep, but avoided South East Nigeria entirely. Let me hear his shameless speech there. Zero votes awaits him.
So kidnappers collected ransom from each family member. The kidnappers further told them to convert the money to dollars, and it was transported to the kidnappers.
I am shocked Gov Uzodinma is acting like the hero when the ransom was paid.
The government failed.
Kudos to this young Igbo boy (Anele Munachimso Marvelous) who emerged as the best in Mathematics and Science at the 2026 International STEM Olympiad Grand Finale held in Italy, in which over 150 countries competed.

TINUBU: You can arrest the truth speakers, but you cannot arrest the TRUTH.
Lawrence Zongo is a fearless truth speaker. His family was attacked. His cousin died. He went to the hospital to help—and soldiers arrested him. He is reportedly being held without charges, denied access to family and lawyers. Amnesty International has raised the alarm.
He is the latest in a long, shameful pattern. Kaigama spoke about alleged Boko Haram ransom payments: arrested. Justice Crack exposed soldiers’ welfare complaints: arrested. Nnamdi Kanu was unlawfully dragged back from Kenya, then condemned to life in a SHAM TRIAL.
Now a proposed bill would tighten government control over foreign-funded ministries, humanitarian groups, and media: register grants, align with government priorities, face prison penalties for registration violations. The message is clear: REGISTER. TOE THE LINE. OR GO TO PRISON.
This is Tinubu’s crackdown on truth. Communities suffer atrocities. Those who expose their suffering face arrest. Those who help them face intimidation.
TINUBU: STOP ARRESTING THE WITNESSES. GO AFTER THE KILLERS.
Release Lawrence Zongo. Give him access to his family, his lawyer, and medical care. Account for his detention.
Churches, journalists, human rights defenders, Nigerians everywhere: **RAISE YOUR VOICES.** Share his name. Demand his freedom. Lawrence stood with the victims. Now we stand with him.
FREE ZONGO. END THE CRACKDOWN. WE WILL NOT BE SILENCED.

Senator Victor Umeh takes the case for #Biafra to the floor of the Senate, warning that: “The consequences of Igbo marginalization will be huge”. And he queried why a federal agency in Southeast got only ₦4b while the same agency in the other regions got ₦60b.
Every single problem you can think of that Nigeria is currently facing, Peter Obi has faced it, AND SOLVED IT.
Name it:
Corruption
Cartels
Cabals
He has tackled them head-on, and won.
Nigerians,
Peter Obi is your ticket to greatness.
Snatch him
Grab him
Run with him

Amnesty International urges the authorities of Madonna University Elele Campus, Rivers State, to rescind the expulsion a final-year nursing student, and the suspension 14 other 500-level students over a viral TikTok video. The expulsion and suspension are disproportionate.
The university should prioritize dialogue and mediation. Imposing heavy-handed academic or disciplinary sanctions would terminate the academic progress of the affected students.
The students have the rights to freedom of expression, academic freedom and education. The expulsion and suspension are harsh and would create a chilling effect on the enjoyment of these rights.
The university’s policies and procedures should conform to international human rights standards. Also, the university must uphold the rights of everyone, including the rights to freedom of expression, education and academic freedom.
This Terrorist-sympathizer arrest is very significant and goes to confirm what i told you guys a few days ago regarding a renewed U.S. pressure on Nigeria to start picking up the hidden hands behind the genocidal terrorist attacks that have claimed nearly 200 thousand lives in Nigeria.
Many more are coming, some of them will shock you. It’s a broad operation. Fingers crossed.
American born Poet, Daniel Somtochukwu Umemezie has just been named the 2026-2027 US National Youth Poet Laureate in the United States.
Congratulations, Som!
This Harvard lecturer has found a way to soothingly narrate the journey so far.
I could watch the video a hundred times.
Enjoy 🔥
I stumbled on the video of a grown Asaba elder sobbing through a one hour plus memorial speech of what happened to our brothers in Asaba decades ago. About 7,000 Igbo men gunned down in one day! Just Asaba alone! Simply for being Igbo.
In his testimony, he recounted how one Chadian mercenary on the Nigerian side openly ordered our men out to the killing field with these words: “You be Igbo, so you must die!”
People still walk around with this pain and yet, Nigeria has not deemed it necessary to officially atone for these evils. And they wonder why the “evil forest” of a nation has only progressed backwards ever since.
I stand with the Asagba of Asaba. Obasanjo shouldn’t be the only one apologizing. Matter of fact, Gowon and all the surviving former heads of state, together with a sitting head of state must tender unreserved apology to the Igbo nation. I actually think Tinubu will welcome this, not because he’s such a considerate guy but because he knows how important doing this would be to his private ambitions, not known to many (And I don’t mean 2027 elections).
Ebonyi people said no to Dave Umahi divide and rule. They are speaking up against Umahi saying he can not create division between Ebonyi people and the rest of Igbos. We are one and Umahi can not decieve them, his divide and rule will never work.
59 years after the #AsabaMassacre, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, who is credited with having ended #Nigeria's #CivilWar in January 1970, has appealed for forgiveness and reconciliation, but the Asagba of Asaba, HRM Obi Epiphany Azinge, SAN, has insisted that there can be no closure for his people until a sitting President publicly apologises for the 1967 atrocity.
The #AsabaMassacre was commanded by Murtala Mohammed & supervised by Ibrahim Taiwo. Both were assassinated in a coup attempt less than 9 yrs later in 1976.
The 60th commemoration of the #AsabaMassacre will be on 7 October 2027.
